Minneapolis Sailing Center is committed to the health and safety of our employees, sailors, and the community at large. MSC has updated its policies and procedures for the upcoming 2023 sailing season.

OVERVIEW OF COVID-19 POLICIES

  1. For all students and staff masks or face coverings are optional.

  2. People who are sick, are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or have a fever of 100.4℉ or higher are asked to stay home.

  3. We are not limiting the number of people allowed to sail on the same sailboat. Sailors may use personal judgment in this regard.

  4. Social distancing is no longer required for Youth or Adult classes.

  5. Sanitizing stations will be provided on-site and sailors are encouraged to use them upon arrival.

  6. Classes will be canceled if thunderstorms are in the forecast.  We will attempt to reschedule classes when possible.

  7. MSC will be able to provide PFDs but recommend sailors bring their own.

  8. Youth summer camp participants must bring their own lunch and beverages and may not share food or beverages with others.

As always, please reach out if you have questions or want to make a change to your summer plans.

See you on the water!
